Congratulations, Gary!  Beautiful animal.

What (if any) taxidermy plans do you have for your trophy?

Thank you everyone for the kind words.  By the way, the bow was a 60" Tall Tines, 48# @28". Wilderness Custom Arrow with a Zwickey Delta two blade. Obviously a complete pass through.

My wife originally asked that I not shoot too big of a bear. ??? Oh, AND I would prefer a Black bear as it will match our decore better. Ok dear, whatever you want.

I guess I didn't say that he squared a measured 6' 10+". I prefer "almost" or "just shy of 7 feet", but Ryan is stickler for honesty.

Brad, I know there are at least three monsters waiting for you. Two were seen by Pat this past week.

Just gotta have patience, man.

I applaud your ability to stay in the moment after the first shot and follow up afterwards with a great 2nd shot. Wish I would have been able to make it to join you this year. Came very close, but just was not doable with my load at work.  As always, Ryan sounds like the consummate bear guide, and the voice of sound direction and guidance. Congrats on your bear!

Great story and a beauty of a bear!! Congrats!
