Thanks for posting those videos for our viewing enjoyment. Fantastic job by both father and son!

Very nice hunts. He truly makes a great effort.
The only problem imho is, that his seat is too low and the seat does not have an high enough back support.
These shotgun seats make you sit very low and in a slightly forward tilting position. It is very difficult to get a good shot off like that without your full upper body upright.
One can't really get a good shot off out of this position in a straight direction as his legs are always in the way pulling the bow.
The first miss (second video) was great footage of the gobbler strutting toward the decoy. Unfortunately there was too much brush. I would have tried to clear at least one or two shooting lanes so an arrow can pass through at these close distances. Essentially he took the shot in the worst body position for his setup.
For such a low position off the ground, I think a 48" bow would help him maneuver his bow much better.
One needs to be min. 24" off the ground for a 48" bow while for the 54" bow is needs to be 27".
It is also much more difficult to get a shot lower than vertical.
Other than that, great accomplishment and footage.

Way to go!  A bow bird without a blind is quite a feat!

Nice work and thanks for sharing!
For we did not follow cleverly contrived myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; instead, we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.
