I uncovered some new autobody metal in my garage. Is this heavy enough for making tradepoints if I heat them before sharpening?

How thick is it? If it's for body repairs, I'd guess at it being very thin (3/64" at most) and very soft. Probably not ideal.

Soft would be a big problem. Body steel is low carbon and can't be hardened.
