I used a buck gardner rabbit squealer on em last year with great success. You dont call them in like coyotes though. You need to be within about 30 yards of em to have any luck. How i did it is, whether i connnected or missed, i would hurry to the spot where they went into the brush and do my best wounded pig squalls. Brought em on the charge almost everytime. Its great excitement. They are quite intimidating on the charge with hair bristled up.

I have for the last 17 years.  I have had great results with it.

So what's the idea here, make a call that says a Javie is in a fight or in trouble and they come back to defend it?

Distress calling like the guys mention works well at the right time..... I also like woofing them.....If you booger a herd you can imitate their woofing and bring them right back in...... Terry
