Hey Matt, What do you think about that sassafrass as a limb wood?? I have a R/D bow with sassafras cores and it is really snappy--I wonder if it is not often overlooked by many bowyers as a quality core wood...

Rick, I think sassafras is probably my favorite limb wood it is very very smooth and like you said seems to have exelent cast. I also like walnut really well.
 Luke we have built some for other people and have thought of selling some, I sure enjoy building them if I sold some it may partialy support my bow habit ha ha.
