Yesterday I was looking through some old issues of TBM and I saw what looked like a home made feather burner.  I couldn't tell for sure but it looked like maybe a resistor and a wire with an electrical power supply.  I was just wondering if anyone had ever tried to make one of these.  Any information would be great. Thanks.
