I wish it was a beautiful longbow. But for the last 15 or so years it's been Big Ugly my old Assenhiemer. Big deer are just to hard to come by to trust to anything but him. With that bow it's as easy as pointin it at em and wishin em dead!

Myself, I only have one, a Bear's Paw longbow, but next week I am sending in the deposit on a new set of limbs.  Going to go from a 58" longbow to a 62", and going to increase my draw weight by a few pounds.  These will be the limbs that I will shoot.

My go to bow is over fifty, that's fifty years, so I have been searching for a replacement for over ten years; haven't found it yet.  But, it sure is fun looking.  One of these days I will make the perfect selfbow, and then spend the rest of my life trying to replicate it.  Besides, I don't want the twenty something bows in the bow room to get jealous, so I make sure to take two off the shelf to fill doe tags each year.

Guys who know me would laugh at this, but I am getting there. I used to swicth back forth a lot. The last year though I shoot my KS's and thats it. I consider them one bow as they are exactly the same, except for the #age.(48#s and 63#s)I admit I have an LB that I just got, but I will only use it for fun or bunny huntin'. When it comes to my serious stuff, tha my Kwyk Styks are it. Shawn

I am leaning towards 2--- a K M archery longbow--actually have 2 and one more coming in--BUT-- all the same except for the weights----And I just picked up a stock 3 pc recurve from RER bows---used to be rivers edge recurves---I am liking that bow---SOOO-- I guess I cannot claim to be a 1 bow guy---but a lot closer than I used to be....

To me,  Curves and longbows have their places...

Im starting to lean towards the widows with a extra set of limb.  I think ones going to be in my near future if I can find one that is  

I go through bows like a rock star gos through woman,Im down to 3 now but only shoot one,A Pronghorn 3 peice 59#@28 That I really like,The other two are a Kabekona 56'55#@28 [that Id like to trade for a recurve]and a Big river 60'70#@28 that I like alot but get tired fast shooting it because of the poundage

for the last year i have only been shooting my Mark Baker selfbow. i find dramatic improvement with my shooting when i stick to one bow only thing is i have a couple beautifull bows that really should be shot!

Do twins count as one? I shoot twin Mahaska recurves.

I have a Bear Kodiak Magnum, 50# @ 28" that I shot from 1972 until last year.  I managed to gouge across the glass on the back of the bow about eight inches from the limb tip......now retired.   As a replacement I bought a Tomahawk, 50# @ 28"....given a little care, this may well be the last bow I buy.

I have a collection of old Bear recurves that I shoot on occassion    

Until this August I did not think it was possible for me to become a one bow person. I sold all of my recurves and shoot Leon Stewart's three piece Slammer. It is the most accurate forgiving bow I have owned.

I've been shooting my Wapiti recurve for going on 18 years now. I hve 2 sets of limbs ,and I've owned other bows but when it comes down to heading into the woods ,its my go to bow --ALWAYS

To many bows to list one by one; 23 hanging on the wall; I love archery and my bows and love helping others in getting started in archery; it seems when I give one away, 2 more takes its place; I hunt with Bear recurves; no, I am not a one bow kind of guy;      

Getting there, just started shooting the same bow for the past few months, while waiting on a new bow.  Once i tgets here that's all I will be shooting.

Heck I can't even shoot one kind of bow.No way to only shoot just one.

Had a TS III and liked it alot. The brace height Jim recommended was 7"+ to the throat of the grip. I set mine between 6½ and 7". Then set the beaver ball silencers 1/4 of the way down from the string groove. It was very sensitive to brace height and silencer location, but once there was whisper quiet.

I shot two bows.  Thunderstick MOAB and Big River recurve.  It does take about a dozen arrows for transition between the two, both then both hit were I'm looking after the switch.  The MOAB is my main bow, but for big hogs I like the Big River and heavy 730+ grain tapered Ash arrows.
