LITTLEBIGMAN, Beautiful pictures! What kind of bow is that on the picnic table with the gobbler?

My last few days of the late archery spent on stand just off the shoreline of Lake Bellaire with the new to me Cari-Bow Peregrine t/d.

If you live near Westlake, then yeah  ;)

I should've PM'd you sooner. Saw loads of sign, but nary a hog. We never made it down to the camp area to hunt but tried the archery area and Oaky Woods. It was mainly a pre-run for Feb. Two squirrel hunters turned Todd and Lee onto the area between the pond and river, but too late for us to take advantage of it.

We saw turkey and loads of squirrels. They saw to mid size hogs but the hogs ran like scalded dogs when jumped. I believe that archery area would be a deer haven come bow season. Loads of deer sign and two bucks sighted by LCH. Scrapes and rubs everywhere along the creek bed near (west of) the plantation hunt camp. I spooked what I believe was a doe. Oaky woods has some t-h-i-c-k spots. Compass is a must. GPS is even better.
