Hey yall, i have been using my compound to hunt deer for almost 10 years, now im going to try this trad hunting and was wondering if mechanical broadheads will function properly with trad gear. I know this is prolly a lil off topic, but the natives didnt have 3 bladed broadheads, or bleederblades of there bh's either. If i use wood arrows and inserts to accomidate the bh's will they preform like my compound? I really like my mech bh's, part of the reason i switched from Muzzy's (and i cut my thumb everytime i put the damn things together) but they are easier to tune to my bow cuz they fly like field points.
Just wanting a little help with this

I would not shoot a MH out of a traditional due to the kinetics it will loose once it hits the deer...

Mechanical heads may not be the best choice for Trad equipment. Maximize the efficientcy of your recurve or longbow with a cut on contact style head.

Lots of good choices out there today.

Since we haven't allowed discussions about mechanical broadheads since day one on this site, I'm gonna lock it down.
