I just love your room droptine-----somebody put an ugly Packers flag in there! I just wanted to point that out so you could rectify the situation.  :smileystooges:

Here is my very modest work in progress. Pales in comparison to many here but it's my home away from home.

I just joined this forum about ten minutes ago. I am very impressed by the few posts I have read so I wanted to show you guys my trophy corner. I look forward to learning about trad bows. I need to learn how to post the image now.OOPS.

man, Bjorn-you don't have a game room, you have a bow room!  My local pro shop doesn't have that many trad bows!!

having only a lowly stuffed teal, It'll be awhile before I have any bragging rights, but it's a-comin!

Rich, I really like your place.  The WT rack on the top post, THICK!  All those bucks come from MD?  We just got 27" of snow here and 5 foot on the mountain across the street.  Late deer starts the 14th.  I hope to jump some cat tracks this weekend.  A big cat would look good sitting with those bucks. All those rooms look great!

Dug up some old pics and also took a couple new ones of my relatively new trophy room/den/office.  When I got married, it was imperative to go ahead an add on to my house as I'd always wanted to do.  Can't remember the exact dimensions off the top of my head, but maybe 16x31'.  I made it a little narrower than I wanted due to wanting to save some trees outside.  One piece of advice if anyone ever goes this direction, is to make it as big as you can.  I already wish mine were larger.  The room is a step-down through French doors and is divided by a partial wall into trophy room and office portions.

On two walls are African game from two traditional-only safaris in '94/'99.

This picture is taken looking back toward the office portion.  Note the display case with a small portion of the many old shotgun shell boxes I've collected over the years.  I also have dozens of the old wood ammo crates.

More pics, next post.

North American game is on other two walls of main room.  It should be noted that I mounted a number of deer in my early years that I now wish I'd done European style.  But I never figured I'd kill bigger deer with a bow (ha).  However, each animal here represents memories and challenges, as do a number of larger deer antlers still in storage.

This is a photo from the office portion of the room.

One more post to follow.

OK Bryce, now you dun it...  There should be a story  that corresponds with each one of those that you could send to Jack for the PBS magazine...  You are going to get some serious writer's cramps.  Thanks in advance.

I'm sure some feel this is excessive or showy, but it is my retreat from this working world we must all toil in.  It's my way of bringing the outdoors home 365 days a year.  I just have a hard time keeping it uncluttered during hunting season!

The west wall currently looks as follows:

Simply amazing! This is hopefully the start of my collection. This is my first trad deer that I got this fall during my first season with the recurve. The second pic are my other compound bucks.
