I have a tip to repay all the help Ive gotten on this site. Try searching "craigslist" each state has a site then each state has different cities listed,its almost all private sales, takes a while to get used to it, but have really done well there.Remember not everyone knows how to descibe something online sometimes I find the best deals by changing the wording in my search instead of "bear recurve" I try bow and arrow.

My best was a 67 Bear super mag for $30. Took it to ETAR this past week and sold it for $200.It didn't last 10 minutes, as a matter of fact I thought I was going to see a fight for a minute there. Sold it to some guy who was collecting 67s for the editor of TBM (I think that's what he said.) Should have asked for $250.  

Bought a Shakespeare wonderbow for $.25 (quarter) and shot a grey fox with it that year.
