Welcome Fish. I believe you need to e-mail that to one of the admins. and they can make it into your avatar.

'Course I don't have an avatar so I could be wrong,   :bigsmyl:  anyway, welcome aboard.

Welcome to the site.

My wife's from England, Great Yarmouth. I love visiting England. We go about every other year, visiting her family.

Fished the North Sea last time there. Liked to have froze to death. LOL!

Anyways, nice looking bow you got. What kind??

Welcome Fish!! When you click on the PowWow link, up near the top of the thread titles there is a link with instructions for posting Pictures and Avatars.  Nice bow by the way, and great pic with the Pheasant. That will make a fine Avatar.

fish,

Nope, didn't get a bite all morning. We eat loads of "fish and chips" at the local market there.

Seemed like Great Yarmouth is between Golston and Caster by the Sea and plenty of good places to eat there. We usually make a trip to Norwich everytime we go to England. My wife just got back from there.

Love going there, just wished they'd allow bowhunting.   :(

W'sup 'Mate' ( somehow doesn't have the same ring to it does it?)
Just thought I'd join in on all the Brit action and wish everyone well.  I spent some time in a desert with some very fine men from ODA 312 last year.  It was there that I saw my very first copy of TBM..and the rest is history.
Also had a chat with 'Rob Tattoo' at a shoot near Robin Hoods Bay, Yorkshire last week.  Some good advice there mate, and nice Pronghorn! Cheers, and I'll probably see you tomorrow (OK..Scunthorpe is not exactly Kodiak Island, but it'll do for starters...)

Welcome Fish. If you will put that bird in a crock pot along with the veggies of your choice, add some cream of mushroom soup, season to taste, add enough water to almost cover it & let it cook all day on med. or low you will have some of the best tasting eating there is. I have done many that way & they come out great.Frank   :wavey:      :campfire:      :archer:

Hi there, I live in the US now but hail from Brighton. Best of luck to you, take advantage of the crappy exchange rate and come on over for a hunt sometime!

Welcome, Fish,

I happen to have a Pearson "Rogue" myself, also in #45.

T'works for me.

Funny thing, I happen to work for the Britsh Army here in Canada. "British Army Training Unit, Suffield"

British military personnel can bowhunt as a resident here, if they are a "permanent" posting (2+ years)

(Roast the bird, don't boil it to mush!)

Cheers, R.W.

thanks for the recipes folks! as for the crappy exchange rate,it works for me! ive just ordered a load of mossey oak apparel worth nearly £400.00 ($800.00)here and its set me back just $200.00 (£103.00)thats including postage and a few beers for my mate thats doing the shopping and shipping for me!
RW keep up the good work,us brits dont shout their encouragement from the rooftops  for their armed forces ,but we do apreciate what you do!
