You won't find a more welcoming group of knowledgeable traditional archers than the group at Rainbow Bowmen. They welcomed me at an earlier phase of my life. This traditional weekend shoot is always good. Lots of fun, creative targets.

I called FS several times with 0 response. No answer, left messages and so forth, nothing!
I ordered a half dozen from RMSGear and usps lost em. So I called them, they were super helpful and sent me another half dozen which I received in about a week. The first half dozen showed up a few weeks later so I called RMSGear again and told them about what had happened and said I'd just buy those also. They gave them to me for half price for being honest. That's the kind of small business I like dealing with!

Trad History/Collecting / New Pony in the Stable

Howdy folks,

Always on the lookout for a nice bow from the golden age and being a fan of Ben Pearson, I happened upon this pretty Pinto.  Believe she's a '66 or a '67.  A few stress lines but otherwise in excellent shape.

She needs a sand and refinish as some of the finish is flaking but I couldn't wait and took her out this afternoon.  Smooth and powerful, as you'd expect a 66" 49# Pearson to be.

Per the '66 catalog, a laminate bow of holly and cherry.
These Pintos are just about my favorite of the 1960's Pearson line.

New design glass bow on the tiller for the first time. 64» ntn. Came out with almost even tiller on both limbs, just a tiny bit of adjustment to be done. Pics show bow drawn to 20-29 and 30 inch draw.

Prayers/Concerns/Honors/Ailments / Happy Palm Sunday
Last post by Al Dente - April 13, 2025, 05:03:42 PM
Happy Palm Sunday.  Hosana in the highest.  Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.  Jesus returns to Jerusalem, riding on a donkey, fulfilling a prophecy.

Also, Happy Heavenly Birthday to my Dad.  He ascended 9 years ago.  To have just one more moment with him...

Bet you thru that Root Beer out huh?  :biglaugh:

HAHAHA. I did!
I used for some of the darker tone woods after and it deluted down a bit as you added fresh to it, but I wasn't sure how much it was compromised moving forward.
