My good buddy Tom Phillips has Bison Gear back up and running and he's taking orders. He'll soon have a FB and IG page up. His pack's are every bit the quality of the originals. He was set up at ETAR this past weekend so hopefully you got to check them out![attachment=1][attachment=2][attachment=3]

Awesome. Does he have a website up?
Congratulations Tom. Way to stick with it. Bison packs are by far my favorite and all I've used for 20 years. Good job my friend! BW aka UB

These look fantastic!
They are KAZ. Had mine for over 15 years and it still looks new. I have the Sellway and it's a perfect size for day or over a night or two.

I'll have to peruse the models. It would have been great to visit with Tom and determine which one meets my needs and gaps... I'll check out the Sellway Terry!
Great to hear....I'm glad Tom has things rolling now.
Congratulations Tom, I have no doubt that the quality will be the very best!
Great news! Congrats tom!
Mine fits 6 hole sockeyes with ease on occasion lol! Just sayin ;).
So glad to see these are still being made. The best packs out there in my opinion. Congrats Tom!
I may be missing it somewhere, but is there a website to look through all the products? I don't have any sort of social media, so just wondering if there was an option besides that.

No website as of yet. Just shoot him an email. It's in one of the pictures that I posted.

I talked to Tom last night, he had a great response at ETAR. He sold lots of packs, and took lots of orders.
He also sold a pack to a Tradgang Hall of Fame member that lives out of the country that paid $106 for shipping. That speaks volume about his products.
He will be a sponsor in a bit, and he's bought a hyperlink banner as well.
We chatted a bit about what I thought he needed to add, and I found out that I'm not the only one. So, things are finally a go it looks like for Bison Gear under Tom's command.
Great news all together.
I already have a couple, but have ordered a lost river with a couple mods that I am hoping will be here in a few weeks. Can't wait.
Very pleased with mine
Love my Bison Gear ... always have
I have a new Lost River coming !
Tom is great to deal with
It is so great that Tom has this up and running.
Great news Tom. Do you have your sewing machine going too?
Ton and I talked about a 'sling pac" an over one shoulder.... Much Benificio to the hunter...
Can't wait for it!!!
Terry, you are thinking along with me. I think a sling pack is a very good small pack way to go. I want one that is quiet and easy to use.
Saw these at cloverdale several years ago. Really sharp. I should've gotten one!
I put in an order yesterday. Tom had what I wanted in stock.
I've always wanted one. Being mostly a deer hunter, I like quiet fabrics. I'm also a fan of lumbar designs. The only thing that concerns me when I look at them, is lack of load bearing support or "lifters". Seems it could get floppy under some weight. Any insight?
For reference, I use a Blacks Creek Cure.

Not sure if this is what you mean. You can pack out a lot of meat in these packs. Cinch them down tight. These straps on my Lemhi takes the weight off the pack and on to my shoulders [attachment=1]

Yup. Exactly what I was looking for.
Man I love mine too! Have had it for years. This was on a Montana elk hunt last year.
Have a Lost River in OD. Looking at one like the Elk hunter(???)

So how does one make an order without calling the number shown in the first post. Don't do facebook either.
My Pack Idaho has been my steady hunting bag since well, a long time. The bag has some ware and tear on it. I've hand sewn some repairs in a few places. I even have a backquiver, although in reality not a useful option to me. Really love the wool material.
But not knowing if and when Bison Gear was ever going to be back and thinking of retiring or keeping the Pack Idaho as back up or for my son, I went ahead a bought something else.
Kifaru was having a limited run of Hellcats last summer and so I got one in mulitcam.
I'd like to look at website where I can see some options, look at costs, perhaps buy one.
