I desided to try my hand at making a back quiver. If the pick works, here it is.

That's a good lookin' quiver, great job Joker.  What kind of leather did you use?

I used the 6/7 oz soft oil taned leather from Brettuns Village. I made the top, botom and strap double thickness. It was alot more work than I thought when I first started, But of course I kept getting biger and beter ideas as the project whent on.

Sweet! How much for 1 just like it?LOL Nice quiver.

Beautiful looking quiver.  I'm getting ready to start one for my little boy (small scale).  How did you attach the shoulder strap?  Or maybe I should say where?  Is there a way for attaching it for a left or right handed shooter that makes it ride better.  Sorry if I'm hijacking this but couldn't get a really good answer of this from other threads I found.

Aaron, I will put up some picks of where I attached my strap. Yes, it would be different for left and right. I made a cardboard quiver from my templet and taped a nylon strap to it to decide about where I wanted it. I also taped the real strap to the quiver and checked it for use and fit beffor I atached it.
