Herte's Inc. Recurve bow

I have a Herte's recurve with a missing reinforcement at the tip. Other than that, it is fully intact.
Can anyone tell me how or who can replace this?

Also, the nubers on the side read
56096804
56 is the pounds,
Is 09 the month,  68 the year and 04 the date?

I think there might be an antler tip replacement in the how to forum that you might be able to do yourself. Seems like a custom bowyer could help out to. Maybe contact some of those folks.

You are correct on the month and date. The 04 means it was the fourth bow of that model made that month.

By the way, I think you mean Herter's, don't you?
