Just curious, kind of a poll if you will.

Have always shot 1 nock and nocked below.   Tried above not long ago and kinda liked it.

Have never tried 2 nock points (1 above 1 below), curious as to who does or has and how you like it and or why you would use 2.   Was watching instinctive shooting before and after and noticed Denny Jr using 2.

I use two nock point, it reduce up/down fliers.

I use one knock above,3 fingers under release,so one is really all it takes for me.

I used one over for years and years until a top level competetive shooter told me I should use two to prevent some fliers.

I switched. It helped.

Charlie Lamb

I've placed the arrow nock above the nocking point forever. The last 15 years or so I've served on my nocking point.

By double serving above the arrow nock I have the best of both worlds... a knot for nocking by feel and the double served portion above keeps the arrow nock honest without slowing down nocking.

Picture does not show double served portion above nock, but you should be able to get the general idea.

Charlie: what kind of glove in the photo?

Steve P

Many years of one above arrow. Never cared for brass. Have used floss, dacron, serving, fly thread. Last couple years have gone to over and under with serving(as in C. Lamb's photo/description)and liking it.

Lost Arra:  Looks like the glove that Bighorn Bowhunting used to sell several years ago.  A good glove.

I use double nocks, one above and one below....
I read once where Fergusion dose this also, I figured if it's good enough for him, then who am I not to try it....

Lost Arra.... Orion has a very good eye!! That's exactly what it is. For a long time I figured that was the end all glove and bought a bunch of them. They'd last about a year or two before they got grooved too bad to get a clean release and I'd replace them.

Now I use the Big Shot by Shulz and think I've found the end all glove... for me!   :D

I've always thought that for a quick second shot at game or rapid shooting nocking "over one nock" was the way to go...Gotta practice at it also...

Other people like to nock "under" the nock...Say it keeps the arrow from falling off the string when up in a stand...

Me?..."Mash Potato Brain"...Needs two nocks, one above the other below...See, I was walking down the yellow brick road- Oh!...Not That Story...

Stalking the heavy cover for deer one day and...There they are!!!...I turned into a basket case cause I couldn't remember to nock above or below...Now I use two... :o ...

PS...I didn't get the shot off... :( ...

I also use 2 nocks. Make less mistakes that way. Need all the help I can get

**DONOTDELETE**

I like 2 just like the others... I tie mine on as well..just like Mr. Lamb ( in his pic )

Like most things in trad archery, what works for one person doesn't work for another.

Getting better is about trying new techniques, styles, etc., especially when they are no cost or low cost.

This is one of those situations.  You owe it to yourself to give two nock points a try.  You can always go back . . .

JRY309

I tie on my nocks and I like one above and below.

AkDan

This was just a poll, have thought about trying it.  Had to pull out a bow from retirement so I have something to shoot and was thinking of tying on the 2nd nock (I also tie nocks on after I figure out where they need to be with a brass nock).

Shawn Leonard

I nock below, I use both a brass nock or tie one on. If I use a brass nock, I file it down after installing to a nice smooth nub. Shawn

DAS Kinetic

I use two tie on nock points since I shoot 3 under.  Using one causes inconsistencies in the vertical direction.
