Me and my bow squirrel hunting

Last Monday I was ground hunting it was really windy and cold 18 when I walked in I had 7 deer run up on me at 10 yards I couldn't get my bow off the bow hanger
I love Bow Hunting

RAU

I took this one last year about 10 min before legal light

A few from this last season, which was my first hunting season.  Have some more to post later, unfortunately no deer down, but it was a blast.

Funny, someone who doesn't bowhunt might not get the pics.  I look at each one and feel a little of the 'heightened state of awareness' that I get while sitting out, slowly scanning the horizon,  with only my eyeballs moving.  Great fun even when emptyhanded!

This past season was a bust, it is the first year since 2006 that I didn't get a deer with some sort of archery equipment but I'll share some of the pictures from this season.

One of my favorite views on the farm I hunt back in WV in November

Cool pic when the sun was perfect

He was teasing me all morning

3 young coons climbing my climbing sticks right at dark one evening

No explanation needed - beautiful!
