I live in CT and would like to get a custom longbow. I've been looking around the web and have found some great shops but none in my area. I would rather go to the bowers shop and speak with him face to face reather than ordering online. So does any one know of a custom bow shop within a 4 hour drive of CT?

Depending on where you are in CT Fedora's shop here in PA should be pretty close to your 4 hour limit.

Try Rob Schultze (Blue Monday on Tradgang). He's out on Cape Cod but doesnt have a shop. Just makes bows for a few lucky people. Last summer I shot a neat bow he'd been working on. Kind of like a Brackenbury NonTypical but with a Dale Dye shaped grip.
