I would appreciate any opinions on Danner's Pronghorn snake boots, especially their comfort on long walks in the field. Thanks!

Tim Fishell

I have never tried thier snake boots but I have a few other pairs of Danners and they are the best boots I have found.  Comfortable right out of the box and with a short break in period they are ready for an all day walk.

Instead of opting for the heavier boots, 6 yrs ago I purchased LaCross Diamondbacks for spring turkey here in NY and Mule deer hunting in Wyoming.

They worked great but seemed to lack the ankle support. So...I spent good money on Camo Gaiters from Turtleskin. These are the best snake gaiters I have seen or used. In my opinion, worth every penny. They also offer chaps and full length pants...not cheap...but I'm sold on them.
