Been gone awhile.

Hey folks. I've been gone from this site for a good while, probably at least a yr.  Been building a house, now its done. Haven't even had time to shoot my bow since Jan. But I dusted it off last night, and I'm tuning it up for the early deer season in AZ.  

I changed my name as well, used to go by the handle of Chippy. Its been well over a 100 deg. everyday for the past month and I feel like I've been sunstroke'd. Hence my new handle.

I did go hunting last yr, I had built a recurve using binghams supplies and a mold I made closely resembling one my Fedora 560 hunters.  I had made it in 2002 for a buffalo hunt, but it never got properly broken in until last Sept when I shot and killed a good sized cow elk. Felt pretty solid about it, I made almost every piece. Bow, string, arrows, knife. I used magnus glue on 4 blades and RRA cedar shafts. Then the house took over again and took all of my time.

Anyway just wanted to reintroduce myself and say hello.
