Danny - LOL ! Thats the curve of the riser, with the light catching it just right I think !

My buddy took his pride and joy BW elk hunting with me. Walking into the hunting area, he sit across a bit rock, turned and off she slid. After picking it up, and admiring the deep scratches and scuffs engrained into the woods/finish, he simply said " character marks "

Hope you can say the same if that gorgeous pice of art finds a similar fate in Quebec !

Nope no crack Bro.LOL Brad has it right. I questioned the guy I got it from and he sent me some other pics I have at home and no line in other pics. He suspected the light catching the curve just right.Trust me I will be closely inspecting it when I get home. Should be there by Tuesday.

Mike if you ask me real nice, I will probably let you shoot it.

Brad, I like pretty bows, but I do not get them to not hunt with em. A fine peice of work like that deserves to be doing what it was made for. HUNTING. LOL

Hey Bro, You are here in spirit. Maybe from all my excitement when I punch through that huge bull with the adreniline rush, you being my twin you will know when it happens. LOL. I can't wait till we get a chance at those exotics on our lease this year. I am planning on a whole week so be ready.

Brad tie and old tire to a rope hanging from a tree limb and let it swing and shoot for the opening in the tire. Remember follow through. That is the trick I have found to follow through with the shot.

Long as I do not get the pain that I felt when ya had your first you know what. Take it easy on the packing and such and keep that Ford under the radar,LOL. I hope ya get one with both the Blacktails. Ya just had to get another huh,LOL.

I would love to see a Blacktail setting up along side a caribow in the northern country and a smiling face! My Blacktail is still a virgin. Hope to break it in on it's first hunt for elk this year.

Ok, I ran into a snag with my bow and to make a long story short Bob morrison coached me through a shelf modification a little work with a wood rasp and I think it's where it needs to be.I was beginning to get a little concerned as close as we are to the hunt.I bought an extra set of limbs and had to get arrows spined and built for them,extra strings stretched and 11 broadheads sharpened.If thats not enough I guess I be camp cook and run the camara.I am getting real close to being completely prepared.How's it coming for the rest of you?
