Has anyone used these?  I had some sent to me, they look wicked, but have never shot them.

My 2 cents is I'd stay away from them.  I've seen some funky things happen to them when shot from wheelie bows.  They sure do look nasty though...

My friend bought some last year before deer season and could not get them to group with his target points. They flew wild. I believe it had to do with the extra cutting blade used to carve out the hole for better blood trails. I would stay away also.
In the end it all comes down to the Indian not the arrows.

joel smith

wicked looking is right---but mine planed badly even at 187 fps (and that's on a carbon arrow that had been squared after cutting and the insert squared before i screwed the point in)

Thanks guys, I will try them in the target.  If they fly ok, I will keep them to shoot at armadillos.

Seems I remember they had a right wing type twist and did not fly well with my left wing arrows. Could not get them to fly well at all.Good luck.

Yaa they need to be fletched right wing helical or RW offset.

Terry Green

I would NOT... even THINK about using them on anything larger than a dilla.

Very weak, brittle heads. As Terry said maybe small game, if ya can get them to fly for ya! Shawn

Scott, not to worry.  Everybody needs some bunny and armadillo heads.  Better yet, if you miss you have an excuse  :) .

Onestringer

On second thought I might not even use the on the armadillos.  I have two armadillos (well there are actually several), but there are two specifically that look like pot bellied pigs.  I swear if there were a scoring system for these little critters the would easily be the #1 and #2 entries.
