Does anyone still make the removable bow paint? The stuff I see from H.S. says it is permanent. Just wondering if it really is....or something they have to say to avoid someone getting mad at them if all the paint doesn't come off something.
Get bamboo.

H.S. also makes a removable paint. I have used it on one of my bows with no problems.

I paint my bows all the time with regular spray paint.  I make it removable my waxing the bow with heavy paste furniture wax.  I put on a coat then rub it out.  Then add another coat and Don't rub it out.  Just spray over it.  You will notice that the paint will scratch just walking in woods.  Very easy to remove when needed and I usually just paint my limb surface facing game.  Here's picture of Griffin limb and how it tends to scratch off...Doc

I've bought used bows that were painted and with the exception of latex paint, it all came off easily with lacquer thinner.  Of course, the base coat on these was a catalyzed finish that was pretty much impervious to the thinner.
