What are some inexpensive ways to make a broadhead target.  I' ve heard of using and empty box and spray insulation.

Thanks

I found six 3'by 3'sheets of Styrofoam about two inches thick by dumpster diving. I glued them together with spray glue.  Not very durable but it works for a little bit.

Sand is the most economical and requires the least effort of arrow removal.  I believe you could get by with less than a ton too.

when we built our broadhead range at our club many years ago we dug out dirt on the side of embankments and mixed in sand with the soil to make it fryable. once a year we would fluff up the soil

I have thought about laminating pieces of the foam that is used under the laminate flooring, to pieces of cardboard, foam rubber, and wrapping this mess all up in that industrial plastic shrink wrap.

I have a Humungo target, that has lasted very well, and the above idea comes from what I see inside my well used BH target.
