want to put some deer antler overlays on one of my bows. What type of glue do you guys use. I will be glueing them on to bamboo. Thanks Buck

I've had good luck with gel super glue or 2ton epoxy.    Pat

Thanks Pat, I think I'll try the epoxy

I've had nothing but good results from the thick gel super glue and the activator spray. Have not tried the epoxy, but I'm sure it would be just as good.....Terry

What do you boys think is the best way to sand down the antlers?  Kate

Kate, I use sand paper, wood rasps, files and scrapers on antler. Most abrasive and cutting tools will work on antler.    Pat

I like to shape the antler on my belt sander, held upside down, to very neer final shape before I glue them on. Then I use files to finish shaping, sandpaper to smooth out. Most important thing is to make sure your antler matches up with the limb as perfect as you can make it.
