Father's Day landed a new Dbl Bull Matrix at my house. Since receiving it I have been practicing shooting from the blind. I have noticed that the noise from my bow & arrows upon release seems much louder. I am shooting 29.25" 2018's from a 60" 60# Schafer take-down w/ a Dacron string. Outside the blind this setup is very quiet, yet inside the blind I hear what sounds like the shaft striking the riser. I realize that the sound when contained will seem amplified, yet this seems very loud to me.

Has anyone else noticed similar results inside and outside the blind ? Suggestions, comments ?

The noise stays in the blind. I have found shooting my compounds out of to differnt blinds they are noisey as hick in them but if someone stands out side they can berly hear them.

The sound is being contained in the blind(good thing). Kinda like shooting a gun inside a javelina den. IT'S REAL LOUD if you are inside when the gun goes off. Outside there isn't much noise except the laughter from those watching.   :bigsmyl:

I've noticed it too...just the noise bouncing around inside I guess......no worries Eric
