Not sure what kind of bag target you have.......I get two seasons out of a bag before I have to throw a new cover over one.

All the material for the new target comes from the old one with the exceptionof the cover.  Hard to get cheaper than that.

8up... for indoor use, I have something even better... check out the renewable mobile 4' square target box I built:

http://www.docwightman.com/archery_Howard_Hill/bowroom/targetbox/targetbox.html

if the link fails just go to my site at  www.docwightman.com

then to Archery and Howard Hill Bows

then to Dick's Bowroom.

The link to the page on the mobile target box is at the bottom of the bowroom page.

Morrel's range bag is by far the best bag target made and will last MANY years with a cover change now and then.

Morrel's yellow jacket broadhead target and Rineharts cube are the best broadhead targets made.

When you replace the cover on the Morrel's do you have to remove the old one or just slip it over?

Mac,
That is one of the beauties of the Morrell, you just slip the new cover over the old one.  By far one of the best shooting investments I have made.

*up, I did not raed all the posts, but what ya have is great. Just get a couple burlap bags and re-stuff the filling in your bag in them. I have had my same one for 5-6 years and shoot a lot. Also if ya have a decent spot to shoot where ya do not mind if arrows skip off a short ways, judo points are awesome, ya can pick out many targets right in the yard, leaves, balloons, paper cup, flower tops, etc. Shawn

Try a roll of carpet.I rolled a piece that was about 4'by7, and it stops carbon from my 55# zipper like you wouldnt believe. Some fall to the ground after hitting the target. The rest come out with minimal effort.

I've shot my "THE BLOCK" over 2000 times.. Just as good as new. By the way I have the smallest block inside in my bow room. This way no matter what the time or weather I can practice form.

before Xmas  a Mother of one of my customers ( he is 12)contacted me about getting her son a Persent.

she wanted a deer target and i have been a dealer for Rhineheart targets foe a few years but have never sold any as most of my customers are US citizens and i tell them when they ask for a price they can order  directly from Rhineheart and get them cheaper then i can import them into Canada and then ship them back  to them .

so i have always wanted one of the Broadhead bucks they sell so i called to order 2 .Xmas present for the 2 of us.

as the box is big i  was offered a deal on 2 other targets the 18 sided one and a round one 12 " across   to be shipped free  with the deer .

got the shipment and i am real pleased the broadhead buck, it will in time will wear out ( figure 10 years ) you can shoot broadheads at it as well as field points but will wear faster using brioadheads .
the 18" x18 sided one is going to be my broqdhead target is is good for at least 50,000 shot , that works out to .236 of a Canadian cent retail .if i get more than 50,000    :bigsmyl:   yes there is a bit of Scott in me .

also the arrrows remove easily and on the Broad head buck have the organs on one side so you just walk around and know if the shot angle is correct.

they are a wee bit more of an investment but the value you get is way above the cost --- herb

My opinion is a little biased since I can throw a rock and hit the factory where they are built. Morrell makes a great target, and I can get the factory 2nd's at a fraction of the cost.
