I have been trying to make a Boo/Jatoba but so far both bows I made chrysis(sp) some cracks across limb.  Has anyone made one?

I made one. It was my first try with Bamboo backing anything.

It was 69" N2N, 61# @ 31". The handle was 14", non-bending. The limbs were 1 & 3/8" wide with a straight taper to <1/2" nocks.

It shoots great. Maybe I got lucky, but according to the properties of the wood, both on paper and from what I saw, it should be very good.

Let me know if you want more info.
