Is Easton Not Making Aluminums Anymore?

This is gonna hurt if its true.. been shootin 2216's for 25 years and 2020's for several.. guess neither will be available. A 2117 is close to a 2216 but its not the same, I would be shootin 2117 if they were..a good heavy 2020 will be hard to replace

The XX78 Superslam's still come in about as many sizes as they ever did.  The newer types tend to be made in fewer sizes using the spine deflection measurement, like carbon does.

It's not really surprising that Easton is thinning out the variety of sizes.  When aluminum was king the choices were almost mind boggling.  You could get in the same spine a heavy, medium, light and superlight weight shaft.  Choice is great but not when you are the one manufacturing them.

I just bought a couple dozen XX78, 2216's from Cabelas.  They still carry them regardless of what the rumors say.
I find the older I get, the less I used to know!

How about a 2018? Is there not a new number for them? 2016 is to weak for me.
