Just wondering if there is a standard way of putting these things on so they come out looking good. Having never done it before I am thinking that the wrap will bee tough to get on straight so the cresting lines up. Any tricks to doing it? Thanks for the help.

archenemy

I use a foam mouse pad and lay the wrap on it.  Line up the shaft so its straight and even with the end.  Then just roll the shaft over it with a little pressure.  Should be a piece of cake.

I do them the same way as Archenemy.

I have found that if I wipe the shafts with alcohol  first the wrap sticks better

I took a piece of scrap 3/4" plywood, about 12"X 18" or so,cut a 2" strip off the long side & laid it on top of the larger piece along the back edge creating a backstop.(picture a counter top with a short splash back).Keeping the strip square to the top,I shot three or four drywall screws thru it to attatch it to the top.To apply the wraps, lay one down on the 'counter top',up against the 'splash back'& even with the edge (left or Right),place the shaft up against the splash back & roll!I did put a soft mouse pad on the 'counter top',as well. It's easier to build & use, than to explain it!

ill agree, wipe em with alcohol it makes em stik better, its easy, just peel em off of the thing-a-ma-bob and put em on a mouse pad, then just roll the arrow across it, super simple...

Yep - piece of cake with the mouse pad (I always wipe arrows before trying to stick anything to them). I've applied dozens for myself and for others and only messed up one. That one was my fault, and wasn't that bad anyway. I don't believe I could pick it out from the others now.

( Now watch - after saying that, I'll get my 2dzn from the St. Jude Auction and blow it    Oh Noooooooo   ;)  )
