I have never really been a recurve man BUT I recently traded for a Great Plains B-model Take Down Recurve.

Those of you who know - what can I expect when I get the bow?

Rick

Two Arrows

I really liked the grip on the one I had. I liked the craftmanship and it was purty darn speedy too.

You can expect an excellent shooting 3 piece TD recurve of exceptional quality. I wouldn't trade or sell mine for anything.
I reckon so

SpikeMaster

Very nice grip and smooth draw. I sold mine only because I like shooting longbows better than recurves.

Like said above, you're going to love the grip.

The picture in my avator is me and a javalina I shot with a Great Plains one piece recurve.

I have had all the models of recurves Great Plains offers and they all are great shooters.

If I were shooting recurves or if I go back to shooting recurves, if would definitly be a Great Plains recurve.

Everyone one is different and has different preferences, but IMHO, the Great Plains is the best recurves.....for me.    :D

Thanks guys - I look forward to giving it a work out.  Rick

Rick, I have two originals and like said above - smooth, quiet, fast enough, and very stable. I haven't shot the "B" but if Bill sells it you can bet it's a solid performer! Let us know how it goes when you get it! Regards - Ken
