Magnus stinger broadheads

Thinking of tring Magnus stinger 125 grain 4 blade BH ant one out their using them. Pro's or Con's

       No rust, stainless

       Tough as nails

       Great penetration,  cut a nice hole

       Reasonable price

CON-    bleeders rattle, I hate that. I fixed it by putting a drop a glue behind the bleeder, but I dont think you should have to.

So far it`s the only con I have found in using them. Killed two caribou with them last year, 1 minute apart. They worked well for me.

I like em too. Magnus will supposedly replace them if you bung em up, though I haven't bothered to take them up on the offer. A little harder to sharpen than their other heads, and more expensive. But require less TLC and with extra blades, you are always ready to go. I used 2 blades.

I have the 4 blade 125 grain heads. What impressed me about them is that after shooting the same broadhead into one of the Block foam targets (probably 25 to 30 shots) it still shaved hair off of my arm. I use the Stingers and also Razorcaps for whitetails.

I really like the 4 blade, I use them.  Also used the 2 blade, don't really like those as well.

i have used them as said they are sharp real sharp.
a buddy of mine quit using them when he shot a buck in the knuckle and it broke the set screw, needless to say he only got 1 in. of penetration and lost the buck.
on the other hand i shot a 120 lb. sow threw one knuckle and threw the opposite leg bone. you never know it could have been just a bad broadhead.

I used them to shoot a couple of deer.They worked real well but I just like the bigger broadheads better.The only thing I did not like about them was having to use tools to take the broadhead apart for sharpening and the small size.Quality was first rate but mine did need to be sharpened before I would hunt with them.

Nothing wrong with Magnus,they make the STOS I use most of the time. For another similar choice look at the Phantom by Muzzy. They are super sharp, fly nice and you can shoot them with bleeders in or out.

I have the same list of "pros" as Bigriver, but I have not had any rattle in the bleeders. They fly exceptionally well and penetrate great. I've found them to be tougher than the Phantoms and with just a couple of light (and straight)swipes of an Accusharp they are perfect again.  Great heads if you need to maximize penetration and my screw-in BH choice for hogs. Considering the 150s for elk this Sept.

i shot thur a pig with a stinger 2-blade, it zipped right thur it.    really like the 2 blade STINGER

I am a die hard Stinger fan. They leave an unbeleivable blood trail, and the life time guarantee is a clencher, you make is unshootable (short of losing it) and they will replace it.
