My new to me 3pc Thunderhorn......w/ PICS

Ever spend money when you don't have it? Here's another case of "gotta have it".

Duane's new 3 pc longbow caught my attention last year. Then when I bought and shot his 1 pc longbow back in February I knew his 3 pc had to be something very special.

A very fine gentleman sent me his 3 pc Thunderhorn with two sets of limbs to try out. After a couple days of shooting her I posted a 'hail mary' want-ad for one. Couldn't justify the order of a new one. Well as fate would have it the guy who sent it to me, offered it with one set of limbs. So...............I bought it!!

The bow: 60" 45# @28" Cocobolo/Zebra riser. Looks like Yew core and then some very nice Zebra veneers. Beautiful Horn tips which are a first for me. And lets not forget the unique Thunderhorn Stipple grip.

The bow is gorgeous and an awesome shooter. Didn't have the money to buy it, but I did anyways.   :rolleyes:  

The pics have the 45# limbs mounted to the riser and the 42# limbs laying beside it (which are going back to the owner).
