Newbie here.  Been lurking awhile and finally decided to post.  I purchased a Doug Knight T/D Recurve from Ted Fry (Raptor Archery) back in 1998 used.  64" bow 55# @ 28"...yew/glass limbs and bubinga riser.  My questions are:  What should my brace height be? string length?  The one I have has been off and there are very few twists int eh string.  Been away from shooting for awhile since my divorce and all.  Forgot how much enjoyment I get with traditional gear.  Also, does anyone know if he is back making bows anymore?  I heard he quit shortly before I purchased this one used.

Brian I don't think he is making bows any more but here is a contact for him.  http://www.proaxis.com/~dougknight/index.html/
He should be able to give you the info you need. The wood shafts he sells are the best bar none.

he also made one of the most striking bows I have ever seen...he was on a short list for me till he stopped making bows...a real craftsman and a gentleman on the phone..we talked for almost an hour one time.
