Glad you made it,Ken.I sure don't think you'll be disapointed with your choice of bows,I really like my combo hunter.Mark's work is top shelf, very easy to look at & shoot where you look. What are the specs on your Mountain Bow?

TXRED Thanks for the kind greeting. After reading all the great comments on Horne's Archery and all the great things said about Mark and Sandy Horne, their bows, and their donation of Hope and Faith. Well...I just knew I had to get a Horne's Mountain Bow. Just starting out and listening to the advise from Mark the specs on the bow are 60" about 47 lb at 28" I draw 27" Cocobola riser maple core limbs with bacotte veneers. I am not sure that I know what all that means But, it sure sounds pretty. P.S. The wait is killing me and I only have about 8 weeks left I dont know how some of you guys wait up to 10 months or a year.

Welcome Cooter Boy!

Don't worry about the late start. I shot a compound for about 6 months 25 years agao, became bored with it and didn't start up again with a recurve until 18 years later at the tender age of 42! Of course I regret having missed all that fun for all those years but actually I am sure I had fun doing something else. I just don't remember what it was as it is mostly all hunting and shooting now for me!  :)
