I'm with sticshooter on this one, although I think mine were more lucky than good.  Keeping the chippies out of the strawberry patch is a challenge.  Last summer I reduced the population by 6, with the best shot being a complete pass thru from 22 yards, right on the spot I was focused between his shoulders.  Like I said, lucky....

This was my first robinhood with my recurve. I did it again 2 days later at 20yds. both times I had people with me to see it too!

This was my 1st kill with my longbow. A chipmunk eating my strawberries at 16yds.

Skipmaster looks a little far forward, but your gunna get the consistence award for shooting like that!    Seems your hard on arrows and broadheads. By looking at that broadhead with old chippy. Your kind of hard on them too!  :jumper:  Good shooting! You and Deerslayer1961 have it going on!

I actually took a bunch of my old beat 3 blade muzzys and trimmed the blades down to make a "small game" broadhead. The "hooks" on the back keep the arrow from zipping through, into who knows where. Asd for the RH with the deer, it is a little forward, but I like to shoot them straight up the front leg, just in front of the "crease". just behind the crease actually ends up middle- back of the lungs.

Skipmaster\\ no arguement from me! Great shooting and a great idea with the broadheads!

bmfer\\ Like your arrow in flight shot, and sunk it right in there. I hope your having a much fun as most of us the traditional bow and arrow!

And Jeff I'm not sure theres anything that gives more hunting than those rabbits. I think they surely have squirrels outbeat. Just cause there EVERYWHERE! Not to mention tasty!

I don't have a picture, but it happened today. My 7 year old and I were shooting at the camp. I have a target bag and a 3D fox target. I said to the young fellow where do you want me to hit? He says the FOX target in the center. First shot I centered my arrow in the 10X ring from about 18 yards. The young fellow wasn't impressed as now he owes me one LOL. I couldn't get that lucky again in my life time, but it was fun
make em pretty and shoot em straight.
