I'm fairly new on this site and if I haven't introduced myself, my name is Jerry and I have been at this bow and arrow thing way before they called it traditional. If you look at my old wringled face you can see that I do go back aways.

Sorry but I don't have any bowhunting pics right now.

Easykeeper

Beautiful photo Jerry, looks like a magical spot.

BoonRoto

Some funny stuff on this thread. I don't think I would approach some of you guys on a dimly lit street.

Great pic... Even better fish.  I don't want the honey hole but where is that?

Guess I missed this thread the first few times around. Great to finally put some faces with everyone's posts.

Let it be known I no longer have sport the Bob Ross look. This hunting season I was in the zone and did not have time for no fancy grooming.

Getting it done with a longbow and back quiver made me feel like Howard Hill. I'll never forget it

Bob Ross.....I used to love to watch that guy paint when he was alive and had that tv show. I think it was on PBS station?
That's funny you should make referrence to yourself looking like him in the pics, I can see the resemblence now........most people especially youngins don't even know who he was.

My mom used to do lots of art work. Painting the Bob Ross way was essential learning viewing if you wanted to use oils.

Chris,

He is still on PBS in Idaho.  Guess it takes awhile to get the program over the mountains to our stations.

I won't post a pic due to my wides request. Last time I did I had a few ladies stalking me and I had to get a few cort orders regulating them to 100 yads or more.  However if one must k ow I am 6'1" and 240lbs.  Thick black curly hair.  About an ax handle wide across the shoulders and taper down at the waist.

If I were posting a pic I would be behind a very large whitetail buck.

Here's a picture of my first archery deer 2 years ago, before I discovered the joys of traditional archery.

And a pic of me drawing one of the first longbows I made.
