Puuurrrddy!  Like the wood combos and it looks great at full draw.  How does she shoot?

And it shoots as purty as it looks!   Did some stumpin' with Randy right after she was done.  Nicely done, my friend.

I like the riser overlays you did looks realy nice. Did you use paralles or tapers in the limbs? They bend nice.

Randy Morin

It is similar to a Shawnee riser in the curves and such but has a lot more deflex.  Limb taper is different than the Dakota too although the limb profile is very close.  More like the cougar limb but (big but) I used wedges in the tips to try for stiffer tips and smoother/longer draw.

For cores I used 3 tapers, 2@.002" and 1@.001"
Total of .005"/1.0"

Razorsharp...good luck brother. Show pics when your done if you care to.  Love to see em.

Bullofthewoods...shooting qualities are all right up there. Very pleasant. As for speed she's a thumper.  With fingers, 27.0" draw@53.5#, 520 grain carbon (9.7 gr./lb), 7.0" brace =178fps.
183fps with 28.0"draw.
195fps with same everything (27.0" draw) except using some guys light compound bow arrow. (Guessing 425+-gr; not tuned, with vanes)

Cool...she shoots as good as she looks...

You gotta have all sorts'a trouble getting that grin off your face everytime you look at that beauty.

It's probably a good thing we can't wear them pictures out by looking at'em...I've gawked my fair share so far...even showed the wife...
