I've got a ChekMate 60" Hunter I coming that already has a plunger bushing mounted.  I may give an elevated rest with plunger a try.  Where can I find directions/suggestions for setting up and tuning a rest with plunger?  Which ones?  Etc, etc.  Should I just go with a stick on rest, or does the plunger add that much?  I hope this will be my go-to hunting bow, so anything that helps with consistency and forgiveness will be great.  Any help is appreciated!  Steve

Very good information on plunger tuning here:

  Tuning for Tens

A stick on rest and plunger will work fine for bowhunting.  The plunger provides easier and more precise tuning, especially for carbons which can have large gaps in deflection between sizes.  There is also some forgiveness in the release with a plunger/rest combination.
