I got my Bamboo Viper today and whew!!!!!!.Its shooting like a rifle so far.Its 64" 45#@ 28",a little light as compared to my 55# Zipper, but man, what a shooter. Its got a matte black carbon back that I think Im gonna skin with either copperhead or splurge a little and go for some ball python.I wouldnt skin it if it was fine looking wood but the black can stand to be dressed up a little. My cedars which are mostly spined 55-60 are flying quite nicely, finally!!!Ill be shooting indoor 3d tomorrow with it,cant wait.

DesertDude, I recently bought a 55# Bamboo Viper. I have digital pictures strung & unstrung, if I can figure out how to post them on this website.

Izzy

Just got back online today Ill load a few pics.I hate to say but it reminds me of a Centaur.I shot 3ds at my club last night and shot a 148.Not great but what I always shoot, after only 2 days of practice with the new bow.

Sorry, but I don't think my pictures are going to post. I'm new to posting from URL address. I do finally hve them in my photbucket albumn, but now having problems getting them out.  Problems are likely due to my antique PC or my lack of computer skills, or both.  :o ) Anyway, I'm giving up trying for a while.

Just left click on the bottom box under the pic you want to post. Then click here and choose paste.

Herkimerhunter, Sorry for using your thread as a "picture posting for dummies" training exercise but a guy's gotta learn how to do this stuff somewhere!

I am planning to order a Savannah with carbon and bamboo limbs this year. I just like the riser and the wood on the Savannah.

I thought they were similar, just different materials. My 1st longbow and Im lovin it.If I can get a pass through with that 45# I may not shoot heavier again.

Clint B.

To me, the Bamboo Viper is designed much like the Vision, same basic limb & riser geometry, only the Bamboo Viper is 2 inches shorter & has no "horns" on the riser. The grip & sight window are very similar. The Savannah has a completely different limb geometry & riser shape. The grip is much smaller.  The Vision & Savannah are both very popular designs. I personally prefer the Savannah.
