Who is shooting a Bob Lee recurve

I have been shooting a signature take down recurve since December 53#@27" 60". I really like it good speed, and a really nice grip, and good weight to the riser. It fits me well. Rob was great to talk to about options before I ordered. I would reccoment Bob Lee to anyone!

I have a Bob Lee Bicentennial that is 56# @ 28" and I am very happy with it. They draw very smooth, they are stable in the hand, they are built well, they have more than adequate speed, and they look nice. Now the question I have is, what is the difference between pretty quick and a speed burner? Not disagreeing with you Shawn, but the difference is so slight, that it doesn't really matter, to me anyway.

I like the one piece most likely the signature i just want a basic bow. I'm not to concerned with speed as long as it is smooth and quiet, i want it in 54" between 45&48# and new.

I shoot a 62" one piece recurve.  The draw is super smooth. Mine is a 2005 modle. 66 @ 28. its  to much weight for me so after about 12 arrows I have to put it up for the night and shoot something else in a lighter weight.

I just got one and it is one of the best shooting bows I have ever shot.  Mine is 60" long and 59#@28" and it is the Hunter take down recurve model.

IMHO, you cant own a better all around hunting bow than a bob lee. Mine is a 58# 60" bob lee classic take down recurve. It draws super smooth with ZERO stacking. They are very quick, even in the lighter poundages. I passed through a doe this year as well as a hog with a bamboo arrow. You wont be dissapointed

I am not all that into speed, but was saying if ya wanted fast these bows are about average nowadays. They are great bows, but I think there are better short bows out there and that seems like what he wants. I am not sure they make a 54"er, but I have not looked at their site lately. The Lee's have been in the archery gig for a while. They have the design worked out pretty well. One of the nicest shooting bows I have is a 60", 59LB signature recurve made in 93'. I can't tell the difference in speed from my 60lb Morrison recurve. Both bows are fast. The Lee is more quiet and a little heaver because of the riser size.That makes it a more stable for me.

I forgot to say I shot Bob lee sr 's little 54inch a while back at his shop. I was impressed with the bow. I have a 27 inch draw and it shot really well for me. It had the micarta in the riser which added some weight to the little bow.

I haven't shot their one-piece bows much but the three-piece T/D is my "go to" bow and I've owned a pile of nice recurves over the years.

Like SL mentioned, the Lee's have been making bows for a long time and I suspect anything they make is good.

I have a Bob Lee Bicentennial that is 58" 56# @ 28" it is a very smooth shooting bow and I love the grip and heft of the riser.

I have two Bob Lee recurves - a 58" Hunter takedown 45# @ 26" and a one-piece 54" Hunter Pro 45# @ 26". Both bows have a medium grip and are great to shoot. They're smooth, quiet, and are more accurate than what I can shoot. The workmanship is typical Bob Lee - nice! The folks are great to deal with. I can't comment on how fast they are because I have nothing to compare them to.

I shot this group at 10 yards with my one-piece 54" Pro Hunter.

I have two Bob Lee bows. A Signature takedown that I have been extremely pleased with.  I have two sets of limbs. One set is 44#@28 and the other is 50#@27.  I use the lighter limbs when I want to shoot alot and work on form and hunt with the heavier limbs.

The first time I shot a Bob Lee was about three years ago.  I was so impressed with it I tried to separate it from it's owner.  He's a great guy but told be I could keep my money!

I found the folks at Bob Lee to be great to work with.  I visited their shop in Texas about a year and a half ago and was very impressed.  He had a one piece Bicentennial Elite hanging in the showroom.  I only had to draw it a few times before it separated me from my wallet.

Both bows are very smooth with zero stack and very quiet. You won't be diappointed.

Delivery time on the Signature I ordered was about six weeks.
