Looking for a new BH??

Well I might be looking ora new bh but which ones? I'm going to get some new woodies soon and need some tips. Looking for some imput. I'm shooting some magnus1 right now. Like these but thought about change. Maybe the grizzly? STOS? Eclipse? Like 160 gr 2 blades. Have thought about the ww but would like them to be heavier. I will be using a Lakota quiver so the 2 blades might be better. They will be for deer and elk maybe a bear. Thanks

Grizzly is an excellent bh. STOS - the tip is too much of a needle and curls on impact. Wasn't impressed with their quality either. Eclipse is a good bh. Also check Simmons; very good broadheads.

I'd want 2 blades for that quiver also, but I shoot a lot of deuces anyway.

The STOS and Grizzly are both very good heads that I shoot a lot.  The STOS is a snap to sharpen, both fly like a dream.

I've not had the experiences with STOS TJ has, but I also put a tiny Grizzly tip on mine.  STOS has actually started doing that themselves, and gone away from the needle point, but I make mine a little  more Grizzly like than they do.

There honestly are very few "bad" heads out there, especially when you're talking trad glue on types, so pick yer poison!

Another STOS fan here, 160gr with 125gr steel inserts. They don't curl unless you hit rocks, rocks don't taste good so I don't shoot em often. If you have any concern with tips curling then just file them to a chisel point and you will be all set. They sharpen real easy with a $5.00 file and for $24.00 for 6 a deal. I carry them in a plains style quiver alot.

You can't go wrong with ACE broadheads, easy to sharpen and hold an edge!

I am totaly pleased with the Ace 200 gr  and Tusker Aztec 175 grain.
Both have served me very well.

The Tuskers need to be filed when you get them, but it is an easy task. I re-file all new heads no matter what model they are , except  the Silver Flames.

Just a few weeks ago I saw a STOS that had penetrated a 200 + pound wild pig in the spine. The arrow penetrated the center of the vertebra to the arrow. There was no tip curl. After removal the head was in completely usable condition. All it needed was resharpening.The tip had penetrated three layers of bone going through the vertebra and the tip was fine. I was truly impressed with the head. If I ever switch back to 2 blade heads it will be STOS for me.
