Well, I might as well put in a couple of pictures back when I had hair...
An unfortunate grouse taken during an elk hunt sometime in the 80s

Elk camp. My son looks to be about 5 years old, so this was probably about 1981.

My one and only bear; 1987. The big guy came in to an elk bugle.

This is a great thread. Wish I had some pictures from earlier adventures but I can't find any.

The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts.

Wow, it's back again...   :saywhat:

Here's a picture from my exhibition days. I didn't draw all those people, they were waiting to see Ted Nugent who was coming on after me.     :biglaugh:

Well, I wasn't into archery back in the day, but I certainly qualify as an Old Duffer...   Here's a pic of me circa mid to late 60's, all garbed up as Trapper Dick.  I hand dyed the linsey woolsey pants fabric and hand sewed the outfit, including the mocs.  The Hawken rifle was one I made.

nice! I just finished an 84 cj7 restore. Now if I could just down a bear like that one with my recurve I would be okay  :)

Its not the size of the animal you hunt that matters. Its how you hunt the animal.
