Here is the finished knife. I use dsome t-bird poly gloss. I could take the gloss to a nice sheen with 0000 steel wool but I think I'll leave it as it is. The picture doesn't show the nice mellow brown streak in the ebony but it looks great in the sun. Thanks gang for all the positive feedback and the motivation try these. Mike
