Nice one Chuck. We had one just down the street in Dallas last week. No need to go to the woods. 😂

Bobcats have gotten a pass...only when not in season.

Foxes have gotten a pass because they are as rare as hens teeth where I am now.

Coyotes have only ever gotten a pass....when they aren't in range of whatever is in my hands.

Yotes never get a pass, ever!! They have taken a toll on livestock and yearlings this year!

I shot at a bobcat while tree stand hunting for whitetail deer, mainly because I wanted the pelt.

A bit off topic, but... on the same property I saw a bobcat swim across a small river. Me and a friend had been bow hunting that morning and we're back in camp eating lunch. Our camp was above a rocky, low water stretch and the cat appeared opposite of us. It started to make for the rocks but turned around when it saw us. It then appeared up river about 100 yards and then swam across a deep section of river.

I never pass up a chance at a coyote while on stand!
