Yes, watched it the other day. Some background on the new riser development. The riser kind of reminds me of a cross between a Bear TD and an ILF riser. The new riser also gives those with TD limbs another option.

Talk about remembering who brought you to the dance!  I better not let my Fred Eichler signature Satori see this one, or she'll get her feelings hurt. 😁

Not much of a metal riser guy.  But this looks nice.

Well you've got the signature and I suppose that's the main thing.

Either inflation has affected the cost of this riser or I am missing something, like the riser but the cost really puts me off

I didn't even know it was out of the prototype phase. Went to 3Rivers and found it,and you are correct, that is pretty expensive. I probably would never get one just thought it was interesting.

I am happy that they make it in left hand.

Just imagine the total innovation. A contoured riser shelf with the high point at the pivot point of the handle and also having it be adaptable for a plunger rest. Unheard off.  Unbelievable innovation. And only $700 for the riser alone. I think I'll order a dozen.
Most people get rich by making more money than they have needs, me, I just reduced my needs!

Without mentioning the Satori by name, he made it clear that this new riser has a higher radiused shelf than ....  Sort of like the '59 Cadillac had higher fins than any car had from the previous year (or would probably ever have again).  And not just one, but TWO holes in the handle; one for the plunger and another for some other attachment.  What if someone wants to add three attachments?  Stay tuned.

Just a thought but if they tried some nice wood instead they might be surprised at how well it worked and it wouldn't be nearly as ugly!

murph60

Not for me. I like wood. But by all means, Go ahead.

blacktailbob

One of the main reasons I came back to traditional was to get away from cold metal risers.
Give me beautiful warm wood please.
