I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Turning 87 years old has been a blessing. Oh, wait, I'm only 78. I keep getting those two numbers mixed up.

I have enjoyed watching your videos and reading your books.  Still valid after all these years.
Best wishes for your birthday and the coming years.

Happy Birthday to you two!  Hope you guys had a great day and will be able to get out hunting  as I think the bucks will be getting a little "rutty" pretty soon.  Good luck and be safe out there!

My apologies on just seeing this. Thank you for all the great comments. I've been burning the candle at both ends trying to get things done before it gets really good. We've been having hot days; no rain and "variable winds of 2 MPH" (not good). The deer are hardly moving at all. We have a ton of acorns on the ground. There's literally no bedding to feeding movement. They just stand up from their beds and start eating. I had appointments today, but my buddy hunted until 11 AM and never saw a deer. But... have faith, it will get better. Best wishes to all for a safe and successful season. BW aka UB

Oh, I probably should mention this. My loving wife bought me a new e-bike for my birthday last week. I guess she got tired of my complaining about being high mileage. My arthritic hips and knees have been bothering me now that my heart issues have been fixed. It seems like it's always something. You guys/gals will see some day... maybe. Everyone says I'm too old for one, but I'd like to try it. I fully intend to ride it just slightly faster than I can walk. I got a Himiway Big Dog (trust me... NOT a paid endorsement). It sounds perfect for me after I researched tons of them. I'll likely use it on logging roads and skid trails for in/out, mostly stopping short of my destination. I'm thinking less human gait of left/right, left/right steps; a single wheel cadence; less entrance/exit time with more time in the stand; not having to sit down to catch my breath literally every fifty yards climbing a minimal grade; almost total silence; less ground scent retention, etc.  We'll see. I promise to be honest in my evaluation and face-plants.  :goldtooth: Wish me luck. Thanks. BW aka UB

Happy Birthday boys!  My wife always said Barry was the cute one.

I know I'm late on this but Happy Birthday to both Barry and Gene!  I suspect that others have the same opinion, but those two guys revolutionized and reinvigorated my bow hunting.  They showed me that the wheelie bows weren't the secret to success.  I dumped the wheelie bow, went back to the recurve and never once looked back!  They showed me what bowhunting was all about and it has been a passion for me ever since.  Just think about how many of us were given so many years of enjoyment because of what they showed us.  I will be forever grateful for what they have done for me!

I wish you both many more years of chasing after Woody's kids.

My best friend is my dog,
my best bow is my Bear Cheyenne.

Imagine that, you guys were born on the same date. Lol. Happy birthday

Happy Belated Birthday Gene & Barry  !!!!    It is "THAT TIME" of year  so I have an excuse... :biglaugh:
Hope you each had a very special day .

Barry , Hope things pickup your way with movement and steady winds. Been pretty funky this way as well, and the farmers are as of yet to get the corn out. Things will take-off any day now when more seasonal  North-west winds dominate and these south light and variables  dissipate ....crops out...rut kicks in high gear .....Yep...any day now.

Look forward to hearing about your seasons ......

p.s...what in hades is an  E-BIKE ?   :biglaugh:

Happy Birthday Wensel brothers !
