..Mighty fine story and Buck Ryan !  . Always enjoy hearing of others jouney on the path.  We all as bowhunters can relate to one anothers adventures & stories, yet None of them will ever be repeated  .....That is the true beauty of the path......Thank you for taking us along my friend.

Well done Ryan. You had a good teacher. He taught me a thing or two as well.
It's really simple. Just don't take those borderline shots. Tomorrow is another day.

Well done Sir, loved it. So nice to have the pics, wish that I all of mine but it is what it is. Memories are so precious to us and these were just that for you. The details may not mean a lot to some but they are all part of it and part of the story. Awesome buck too!

Those were the days Ryan. I remember it well as I grew up close to that area. Bucks like that were hard to find.. great memories and thanks for the write up.

Enjoyed the story.  Brings back memories of my first hunts.  My father passed away when I was 15 and he was a rifle hunter.  So my bow hunting experience was  all on my own.  I sure made a lot of mistakes and and missed a lot of shots before becoming a true bow hunter.
