I haven't used this yet for hunting but plan to.  My surgeon says I have about ten years left so I thought what am I waiting for?

Well, since I only hunt in the back half section, this works fine for me.

2013 Tacoma 4X4. It just turned oner 100,000 miles this month. Runs good and gets me where I need to go. The only reason I would want anything else is that I would like to get a camper trailer and could use more towing capacity.

No picture but I am with the ranks of faithful Tacoma owners. I've owned two and could count mechanical issues on one hand after thousands of miles. My current Tacoma,03 TRD, 178,000 miles, is the only vehicle of any owned by my hunting buddies that can get back to my cabin on a two track 1/4 mile long that is nothing but deep ruts and deep mud. The next time you pull up behind a 1st gen Tacoma just look at the stock ground clearance and shock mount placement.

X2 vesty!! I just gave my kid my old 02' Tacoma with same many miles as yours. I wouldn't be afraid to drive it across country and back. When I got my new Tacoma I just couldn't get rid of it. It's been on a lot of hunts and not once left me stranded. And all stock no mods to her just tires.

My good old "un-breakable" Toyota Hilux, a 1996 2.8 litre diesel. 330,000 mile's on it and still going strong, did replace the clutch at 300,000 though.

Along with also being my work vehicle, it's been my hunting and fishing chariot for about 17 years now. Don't plan on changing it in a hurry, probably just re-build it as necessary. Carted many a deer, wallaby or fish home in it, and many many tons of firewood too.

Over the years I've camped on it, in it, under it, and beside it.

The "top deck" has proved very useful, every time I go bush, when I go home all my camping gear, and hopefully some game, goes up top, and a load of firewood comes home underneath.

Had a 1992 single cab flat tray diesel Hilux before this one. Put almost 300,000 miles on that one too, but when a bloke gets married and kids come along, a single cab is just not all that practical anymore, hence the dual cab  :biglaugh:

2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara JLU - When it's not climbing around in the Michigan National Forests, it's flying around the Sand Dunes at Silver Lake State Park.  Goes wherever I need it to go.  Took me years to convince Roy from PA to dump his Toyota for a Jeep.  He now understands . . .

Went to Colorado last weekend and bought what will hopefully be my hunting rig for the next 10+ years. Impossible to find them this clean in Michigan so I figured it was probably worth the weekend it took to get it. '97 GMC Sierra Z71 with 109,000. Super happy with it and am looking forward to taking it out this fall! At the same time I feel a bit guilty getting such a nice older truck dirty  :biglaugh:
